How was Growth Generation Founded?

I am Çiğdem Bağbakan Çağan.

After graduating from Boğaziçi University, Department of Business Administration in 2006, I started working in sales. I worked in both the sales and marketing teams of Johnson&Johnson Medical. I received awards, including the Global Launch Excellence Award, and I expanded my region many times, but a voice inside me was telling me to enter a different field that could move faster, change and develop, and where I could take on more responsibilities.

 

I quit my job and made a quick transition from a very corporate to a very start-up company, Netmera. It was very enjoyable to witness the establishment of the business, to realize that it would not make money, to pivot, and to grow it from there. I established and managed sales-marketing-business development-customer success teams here for a long time. Afterwards, I had the chance to see the SAP partner ecosystem at Solvia and to establish the first sales and marketing team during the pandemic. I joined Akinon during the global expansion phase, and with the "demand generation" team, we initiated all marketing activities, established systems, and ensured lead flow.

 

I had the chance to experience making things happen with very small budgets, making projects with great support at a global level, starting a business completely from scratch, taking over an existing team and making it more functional, and turning small solutions into products.

 

I founded Growth Generation to use these experiences to help technology companies at different stages realize their rapid growth plans. In addition to B2B sales consultancy service, I also provide B2B marketing consultancy services and enable you to establish end-to-end demand creation processes.
